PLACEMENT

• Placement is based on age/grade as well as experience level. Voice type and level of training are also determining factors.

• We specialize in changed voices. At OCCA, we help boys discover the power in their changing voice, turning uncertainty into a new superpower for musical expression.

COSTS

• Annual tuition for each ensemble is listed below. Discounts for concurrently-studying siblings are available: the first sibling is discounted 25%, additional siblings are 50%.

• Homeschool students are encouraged to join. OCCA will file all necessary documents to assure that your charter funds can be applied toward tuition costs

• A completed registration form is required for each participant.

• $75 registration fee per year - waived if tuition is paid in full by 9/25/2025.

• Installment plans are available, and can be 2, 3 or 4 equal payments (the registration fee is added to the first payment). Payment plans assume commitment to the full year of rehearsals and performances

REHEARSALS

• All regularly scheduled rehearsals will take place between 4-6pm on Thursdays at Bethel Church in Irvine (MAP) at 18700 Harvard Ave, Irvine, CA 92612

• Rehearsals will be held upstairs in the Bethel Church Vision Center in the Immanuel and Shalom Chapels (see the maps below)

• Some of the most important things your child should do to get the most of their choral experience are: Regular attendance at rehearsals, maintaining a positive attitude and being prepared for each rehearsal
